NASUWT Concert Band
The NASUWT Concert Band is a 2nd Section band in the North East of England.
Like their 'senior' band, the NASUWT Concert Band rehearse in Pelton Fell, Chester-le-Street and also have a healthty diary of concert and contest engagements.
Due to a collection of talented players and string of inspiration conductors, the band has risen through the ranks of banding over recent years and picked up numerous titles and trophies along the way. These include North of England Fourth Section Champions (2011), DLI Picnic in the Park (Class C and D) Champions (2012), North of England Third Section Champions (2013), Durham League Section B Champions (2014), North of England Second Section 2nd place (2015) and Champions (2016).
The Concert Band have also recently established a training band who had their debut performance earlier in 2016.
